Importance of Family Planning

Throughout the world, family members can be obliged to face a great number of responsibilities, obligations, and also serious decisions which may include critical evaluations. However, each judgement can easily not only impinge on families’ further lives, but also subtly influence countries and particularly the whole world with different ways at different subjects. To illustrate, to make a decision on the number of children families would like to have is one of the most ordinary  questions in the midst of the agenda of most couples. Thus,  they should carefully evaluate the circumstances they are in and should not dwell on the idea  superficially during deciding on the best option for themselves. Thus, while a great number of families are in favour of the fact that the number of kids  a family can have should not be limited by jurisdictions on account of logical reasons such as traditional concerns and religious issues, I fully agree with the idea that the total number of children a family would like to have should be restricted by promising laws.

In the first place, the opponents of this idea argue that a limitation on the number of children couples would like to have should not exist because families have a right to decide how many children they would like to have on account of their freedom of choice, naturally. As far as we are concerned, family members especially women, do not always have the freedom to make their own decisions because of their husbands’ pressures and this situation can also invade women’s freedom of thought, dramatically. So, each couple is not always in a position to use their right of selection efficiently. On the other hand, if families have the opportunity to have as many children as they wish, overpopulation which is attributable to noninvasive reproduction may be a problem that increases more rapidly. As a result, family members may undoubtedly suffer from economic pressure of course in parallel with their socio-economic status. In the case that parents do not meet their children’s  even basic needs like childcare, healthcare and education, providing a powerful environment and meeting contributing social needs cannot go further than just imagination. In the long run, this deficiency can result in several unpleasant problems such as impoverishment and also lack of education. Moreover, population growth may cause unemployment to prevail. So, this causal chain can apparently be influential if the government does not take some restrictive precautions and does not raise the awareness of the public.

However, by a limitation, the number of children is identified by governmental suppression, and population increase can eventually be stabilized. As a result, this issue no longer poses  a big threat for undesirable situations. Besides, women don’t have to take care of numerous children amid their difficult domestic responsibilities and can easily participate in the labour force. By this means, women not only have the opportunity to contribute more to the economic development but also are less affected by economic burden which stems from mounting children expenditures. In other words, economic necessities can put less pressure on family budget indeed. And finally, the government can provide financial support for poor families. For instance, the German take the advantage of getting 200€ per child (merely until the third one) thanks to the governmental funds.

When all arguments regarding the child issue are taken into consideration, we can possibly arrive at the idea that a limitation is vital to solve interrelated problems. From my point of view, opponents are right to a certain extent, but all these ideas do not justify them absolutely. In order to avoid unpleasant results, not only the government but also the citizens should extrapolate and take important precautions to improve the quality of life.
